Faith-based reasoning

If Scientific American is expected to enhance appreciation of scientific approach and reasoning the whole-page June 2001 editorial essay titled "Faith-Based Reasoning" evokes disappointment with The Editors of Sciam.

The subject editorial, including its title, is a demonstration of an antiscientific hypocritical verbiage for the simple purpose of evading a statement that our president plainly prefers to maintain and enhance the interests of Industry and The Corporations versus those of the consumers and of the science-based apprehensions.

So simple, yet so many words to evade stating it.
