On language instinct

On 19/05/2001 I posted a remark re "Cognitive neuroscientists grope way in cortex", an article in Scientific American about "face recognition". Recently there are reports of similar searches, for areas of cortex related to "language instinct".
It seems to me that my May remark is relevant to the "language instinct" case; just replace sight with hearing and eyes with ears…and just recall to what, whom and how new-borns are exposed.
The "face recognition" title is # 71
